Descon Graduate Trainee Program (GTP) 2025
Descon’s flagship Graduate Trainee Program is designed to develop a strong talent pipeline by onboarding high-potential individuals, providing custom training to align with Descon’s culture, and fostering technical expertise, leadership skills, and cultural fit for future success.
Established in 1977, Descon comprises one of the largest engineering firms in Pakistan, along with a diverse portfolio including power, chemicals and agriculture business lines.
Descon specializes in EPC, Construction, Maintenance/Industrial Services, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Automation & Control projects. Its global presence spans the GCC (including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman), Iraq, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and South Africa.

Descon believes that a diverse and inclusive workplace contributes to the development of all. FLIP GTP (Future Leadership Internship Program – Graduate Trainee Program) builds upon the knowledge-based foundation that the graduates have received.
The Trainee program is designed to nurture fresh graduates by providing them a platform which prepares them to be Descon’s Future Leaders. The program comprises 2 parts; FLIP period of 2 months and GTP of 12 months tenure.
Descon‘s GTP aims to develop its future leaders through intensive projects, assignments, rotations, connects and assessments.
𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮:
– Only applications of Engineering, Management, Law graduates of 2024 and students in their final year will be considered (Master’s students are not eligible to apply)
– Only Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Piping (Chemical & Mech), Proposals, I&C, Electromechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Materials & Metallurgy, Industrial Design Production, Environmental, Geological, BBA, & Law will be considered.
– In alignment with Descon’s DE&I philosophy, women and persons with disabilities (PWD) are encouraged to apply.
– Overseas students are also encouraged to apply as Descon has businesses in Middle East and will be placing GTs across Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, AbuDhabi.
