Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships Fully Funded 2026
Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholarship launched in 2014. Each year, the program awards up to five fully funded scholarships covering both a Master’s degree and the Oxford MBA. Scholars choose from the 1+1 MBA partnering programs and combine it with the MBA at Saïd Business School.
This scholarship supports exceptional students who demonstrate strong potential and a deep commitment to solving global challenges in sustainable ways.
As a Pershing Square Scholar, you gain access to a wide range of opportunities. You attend leading conferences, engage in termly scholar events, and benefit from mentorship by professionals and global leaders.
Scholarship Coverage for Pershing Square Scholarship:
The scholarship covers:
- Full course fees for both the Master’s degree and the MBA
- A living grant of at least £20,780 per year for each year of study
Eligibility Criteria
You may be considered for the scholarship in the following order of priority:
- New applicants must receive admission to both a 1+1 MBA partnering programme and the Oxford MBA. If you’re placed on a waiting list, you will not be considered.
- If you gain admission to a one-year full-time Master’s course not part of the official 1+1 MBA partnerships, and also to the MBA, you will not qualify.
- If you are a current Master’s student and are later admitted to the MBA, but were not considered for the scholarship previously, you are also ineligible.
Selection Criteria
To qualify, you must clearly demonstrate the following:
- Academic excellence, shown through strong degree results, high GRE or GMAT scores, academic awards, or other honors
- Leadership potential, proven through relevant experiences and a clear motivation to drive change
- Personal character, including integrity, resilience, and strong commitment
- A clear career goal to address large-scale social issues, whether through an existing organization or a new enterprise
- An ability to design scalable, sustainable solutions to those challenges
- A well-articulated vision of how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will help you reach your goals
You should reflect these qualities in your 1+1 MBA application, scholarship essay, and interview.
How to Apply
To apply for the scholarship:
- Submit a complete application for both your chosen Master’s programme and the Oxford MBA.
- In the ‘Funding’ section of the MBA application, upload your scholarship essay by the specified deadline.
You must answer the following question in no more than 500 words:
“How do you intend to change the world and what does this tell us about you as a person?”
