New York Fellowship 2025-2026

The New York Fellowship is a 6-month program supporting artists and arts professionals across disciplines. It empowers them to take risks, develop their practice, and explore New York City’s diverse cultural landscape.

The fellowship fosters cultural exchange through first-hand experiences, helping fellows understand different communities in the U.S. Applicants must articulate the impact they seek for themselves and others.

It is not a residency or PR tour but a rare opportunity to deeply engage with a new artistic environment. Fellows are encouraged to apply their learnings to their work and contribute to their home communities.

While primarily based in New York City, fellows may visit other U.S. locations. The program begins with an orientation to connect with co-fellows and ACC staff.
