EU Youth Sounding Board (YSB) 2021
If you are 18 to 30 years old and passionate about youth participation in international development and global issues, then here is a great opportunity to contribute to the world around you.
By becoming a member of the European Union Youth Sounding Board (YSB) you can have an influence on EU external actions and international partnerships by sharing your ideas. YSB is open to young people regardless of their education and experience.
European Union believes in the empowerment of youth and encourages the involvement of young people in shaping its external actions. As a member of the EU youth sounding board, you will provide advice on external action policies, especially on youth participation and empowerment and you can play your role in addressing international issues i.e., poverty, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law across the world.
Domestic as well as international candidates can apply as an individual or as a representative of a youth organization.
Location of meetings
- Online. (every year around four meetings will take place virtually)
- In person in Brussels. (When the situation allows)
Participants
25 young passionate people will be selected from across the world.
Selection Criteria
To be a member of the Youth sounding board, you need to be
- Between 18 to 30 years of age limit.
- Good at English language and have good communication skills.
- A citizen or resident of the eligible countries
Duration
Participants need to commit for two years, for about 15 days a year.
